Bastiaan Koch is a multifaceted creative force, occupying the roles of film director, VFX supervisor, and founder of the esteemed production house, Marauder Film. Throughout his extensive sixteen-year career, he has had the privilege of being part of three Oscar-winning and five Oscar-nominated visual effects teams, a testament to his exceptional skill and dedication to his craft.
Eleven of these illustrious years were spent within the esteemed LucasFilm office in San Francisco, where he honed his craft and contributed to numerous groundbreaking projects. His impressive résumé is further bolstered by his successful sale of an original sci-fi series to the industry giant, Netflix, in the year 2020.
Since then, Bastiaan has been diligently developing this project, as well as several others, cementing his reputation as a visionary and innovative force in the world of film and television.
