Barry Finkel, a native of the East Coast, has built a reputation for his versatility in playing a wide range of "unique" roles, effortlessly transitioning between various ages, genders, species, and appearances throughout his extensive career in the theater.
With a long history in musicals and plays, Barry has had the opportunity to perform on Broadway, off-Broadway, in regional and international productions, as well as in television and commercials. His desire for a warmer climate led him to relocate to Los Angeles, where he continues to thrive in the entertainment industry.
Despite his love for animals, which may be the reason behind his frequent portrayal of animal characters, Barry is also a self-proclaimed health enthusiast who prioritizes fitness and wellness. However, he has a confession to make - he has never met a donut he didn't like!
Giving back to the performing arts community is a passion of Barry's, and he does so by mentoring the next generation of performers. As a resident Director/Choreographer/Instructor at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Hollywood, he is dedicated to nurturing the talents of his students. In addition to his teaching role, Barry also serves in an administrative capacity, overseeing instructors, students, and curricula.
With a strong foundation in theater dance, Barry is skilled in tap, jazz, and ballet dance styles, and is also a character actor/singer with a baritone voice, capable of adopting various accents, dialects, and character voices. When he's not working, Barry enjoys unwinding by watching horror movies.
Throughout his illustrious career, Barry has demonstrated his remarkable range and versatility as a performer, and his dedication to the performing arts community continues to inspire and influence the next generation of artists.
