Azhar Usman, also known as "America's Funniest Muslim," is a renowned comedian, actor, and television comedy writer. He is a pioneer in the field of "Muslim comedy" and has worked with notable comedians such as Hasan Minhaj, Hannibal Buress, Ramy Youssef, and Mo Amer.
As a comedian, Azhar has performed stand-up comedy in over 20 countries on five continents, and has been profiled by over 100 major media outlets. He has also appeared in numerous documentaries, including BBC, CBC, ABC, Al-Jazeera, and PBS.
Azhar has also made a name for himself as an actor, starring in the award-winning independent feature film "MOOZ-LUM" and portraying original sketch characters on television and online. He has also appeared in critically acclaimed short films and has worked as a producer on several projects.
In addition to his work in comedy and acting, Azhar is a versatile media professional who is comfortable in front of and behind the camera.
