Austin, a multifaceted actor and producer based in New York City, made his Off-Broadway debut in the world premiere of "Mike & Mindy's Wild Weekend Jam", originating the title role of Mike with an all-original score by the legendary Righteous Brothers music team.
Select credits include his work on the North American "MAMMA MIA!" tour with the original Broadway team, "Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan" alongside Cathy Rigby, Robert Westenberg, Tom Hewitt, and Kim Crosby, the feature film "The Riot Act" with Brett Cullen, the feature film "Broken: A Musical" with Judge Reinhold, and various commercials including a national Nickelodeon spot for Kidz Bop.
Austin is equally adept at swapping hats from actor to producer, working on content for brands such as Doritos and Amazon, as well as on narrative and documentary content for both feature films and shorts.
A graduate of Loyola Marymount University, a top-10 film school, Austin directed an original comedy short "Parent Teacher - The Musical", which screened at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and successfully played in film festivals across the country.
More recently, Austin has been seen starring in the iconic role of Frankie Valli in Dodgers Theatricals' smash Broadway hit "JERSEY BOYS" on the Norwegian Bliss with Creative Studios by NCLH.
As a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, Austin's motto is inspired by Galatians 6:9, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
