Aura Garrido Sánchez is a talented and accomplished Spanish film and television actress, with a diverse range of roles under her belt, including the critically acclaimed film Stockholm, as well as the popular television series El Ministerio Del Tiempo.
Born in the vibrant city of Madrid in 1989, Garrido comes from a family of artists, with her father Tomás Garrido being a renowned composer and orchestra conductor, and her mother, Pilar Sánchez, a gifted painter. From a young age, Garrido demonstrated a passion for the arts, taking her first piano lessons at the tender age of four, and soon after, beginning to study ballet.
Garrido's early exposure to music and dance laid the foundation for her future success in the entertainment industry. Her proficiency in English was also fostered through her close friendship with an English-speaking companion during her childhood.
After completing her high school education, Garrido enrolled in the prestigious Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramático in Madrid, where she honed her skills in interpretation, specializing in textual interpretation. However, her budding acting career took an unexpected turn when she was cast in the film Planes para manana in 2010.
