Athena's journey in the world of acting began after graduating from the esteemed Northside School of the Arts, where she nurtured her passion for the craft. She started by taking on various roles in regional theater productions and tours, showcasing her talents in notable shows such as The Music Man, Hello, Dolly!, 42nd Street, Will Rogers' Follies, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Beauty and the Beast.
As her skills continued to grow, Athena relocated to Orlando, Florida, where she had the opportunity to perform in the live stage productions of Beauty and the Beast and The Spirit of Pocahontas at Walt Disney World Florida. This marked a significant milestone in her career, as she was able to hone her craft and gain valuable experience in a world-renowned entertainment hub.
Athena's transition to film began when she was cast as Roxy in Bloodmoon, starring alongside the legendary Frank Gorshin. Her breakthrough role in the DreamWorks film Forces of Nature, where she played Juanita the Bulltamer opposite Ben Affleck, Sandra Bullock, and Steve Zahn, solidified her position as a talented and versatile actress.
