Ashleigh van der Hoven, a multifaceted individual, emerged into the world on the sun-kissed shores of Cape Town, South Africa. As a young performer, her passion for acting began to unfold during her formative years spent at a prestigious boarding school in Grahamstown, aptly regarded as the Arts capital of South Africa. Following her secondary education, Ashleigh embarked on a year-long odyssey to Los Angeles, where she immersed herself in the world of acting at the renowned Stella Adler Acting Academy. However, her journey eventually led her back to Cape Town, where she pursued a degree in Finance & Economics at the University of Cape Town, allowing her acting aspirations to temporarily take a backseat. Despite this, Ashleigh's dedication to her craft continued to flourish, and she went on to secure a few notable roles in international feature films. Additionally, she opted to further hone her skills through her full-time studies at ACT Cape Town, ultimately graduating in December 2016.
