Asaf Korman, a talented individual, came into this world in Israel in the year 1982. At the tender age of eighteen, he embarked on his cinematic journey by creating his first short film, "End Credits", as a high school graduation project. This impressive endeavor garnered significant attention, as it was broadcasted on national Israeli television and received commendable reviews from critics.
As his skills continued to evolve, Korman went on to produce several independent shorts, concurrently honing his abilities in music and acting. His thirst for knowledge led him to enroll in the prestigious "Camera Obscura" school for art in Tel-Aviv, where he further refined his craft.
The film "Birthday", created during his second year at the institution, made its debut at the esteemed Jerusalem film festival and subsequently screened in Bulgaria and Germany, solidifying Korman's reputation as a rising talent.
Upon graduating from the innovative "Minshar for Art - School and Center" in Tel-Aviv, Korman's graduation film, "Death of Shula", showcased his remarkable growth as a filmmaker.
Throughout his career, Korman has collaborated with numerous Israeli artists, including notable figures such as Joseph Dadoune, Reef Cohen, Moshe Mizrahi, Ariel Efraim Ashbel, Oded Yedaya, Boom-Pam, Givol Choir, and many others.
