Arvo Iho, a highly accomplished and versatile cinematographer and director, was born on June 21, 1949, in the charming town of Rakvere, which was then part of the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic within the vast and sprawling Soviet Union, but is now an independent country, Estonia.
He is widely recognized for his outstanding work in the film industry, having been involved in the creation of numerous remarkable movies, including the critically acclaimed "Karu süda" in 2001, the thought-provoking "Ainult hulludele ehk halastajaõde" in 1991, and the visually stunning "The Birdwatcher" in 1988.
