Ms. Fraser's career in the film industry began as a producer on the film Wassup Rockers, directed by Larry Clark, where she was responsible for the worldwide rights sale. This experience led to a career in film sales.
In August 2005, Ms. Fraser became the Director of Foreign Sales and Distribution for First Look International, overseeing the sales of the company's library of over 800 titles and its current film slate. This included Smiley Face, The Breed, and American Crime.
In March 2008, Ms. Fraser became the VP of International Sales and Distribution with Arsenal Pictures, focusing on the acquisition of completed content for worldwide sales.
In 2010, Ms. Fraser took the entrepreneurial leap and formed Highland Film Group (HFG) with Delphine Perrier. Perrier had previously worked at Paramount Vantage, Odd Lot International, and Mandate Pictures.
Highland Film Group's notable releases include Instructions Not Included, The Baytown Outlaws, Revenge for Jolly, Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You, Barely Lethal, Jackie & Ryan, Extraction, February, The Trust, and Wild for the Night.
Ms. Fraser has successfully financed multiple films using a combination of pre-sales, senior and subordinated debt, gap financing, tax credits, and facilitated capital for mezzanine and equity.
