A remarkable individual, this person's life has been marked by a unique blend of military service, academic achievement, and spiritual pursuits. Born into a family with strong ties to the Christian community, he is the son-in-law of the late Freda Lindsay, a co-founder of Christ for the Nations.
Following his time in the US Army, he went on to earn a degree from the prestigious University of Southern California. However, it was his decision to make aliyah and become a citizen of Israel in 1976 that would have a profound impact on his life's work. Adopting the name Ari Sorko-Ram, he began to dedicate himself to spreading the gospel and serving the people of Israel.
In 1981, Ari co-founded Maoz Israel Ministries with his wife, Shira. This ministry has since become a driving force in Israel, serving as a catalyst and vehicle for evangelism, training, translation, publishing, economic development, and disaster relief. One of its most notable achievements is the establishment and support of a Hebrew-speaking congregation in Tel Aviv, a testament to the power of indigenous ministry and community.
