Annicka's illustrious professional acting career began in 2007 with Auraeus Solito's Cinemalaya entry "Pisay", a pivotal moment that garnered her a Breakthrough Performance nomination at the esteemed 2008 Golden Screen Awards. Following a series of commercials, she landed a role in Marie Jamora's "Ang Nawawala" for Cinemalaya in 2012, earning her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the prestigious Gawad Urian awards in 2013. This marked the beginning of a string of notable performances, including roles in Jade Castro's "Juana C: The Movie", Gil Portes' "Ang Tag-Araw ni Twinkle", Laurice Guillen's "Once A Princess", and Jim Libiran's "Ninja Party". Most recently, Annicka appeared in Mario Cornejo's critically acclaimed "Apocalypse Child", a film that garnered numerous awards at the 2015 QCinema Film Festival, including Best Supporting Actress for her outstanding portrayal of Fiona. The film's international premiere took place at the 2016 Udine International Film Festival, and it is set to make its New York debut at the New York Asian Film Festival in June of this year.
