Annette M. Lesure, born Annette Michelle Chavez, hails from McAllen, Texas. At the tender age of eight, she first stepped onto the stage as Snow White in a school production, discovering her passion for acting. She continued to hone her craft, writing and acting in numerous plays throughout middle school, competing in UIL, the University Interscholastic League, created by the University of Texas at Austin.
As she developed her talents, Annette also began to earn her keep as a runway model at the age of 12. At 13, she won the title of Little Miss America in her only pageant, while simultaneously studying voice and dance to enhance her acting skills.
The following summer, life took a dramatic turn. At 14, Annette's mother, Estela Burt, made the bold decision to relocate the family to Palm Springs, California, to pursue Annette's acting dreams. Within months, Annette landed a handful of national commercials, secured her first television series, and became a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
Annette went on to attend various schools, including College of the Desert and UCLA, while balancing auditions and bookings. Her affinity for journalism and foreign languages proved to be a challenge amidst her demanding acting schedule.
After commuting from Palm Springs to Los Angeles for six years, Annette finally made the move to the city. Over the past two decades, she has appeared in over 100 national commercials and numerous television shows, including a series regular on Nickelodeon's Wild N Crazy Kids, The New Adventures of Robin Hood (airing internationally),and recurring roles on General Hospital, E.R, Las Vegas, Football Wives, Windfall, Miss Match, What About Brian, Samantha Who, Bones, CSI, and House.
Annette's only Los Angeles stage appearance was at the Tiffany Theatre in "El Salvador," earning her an Ovation Award Nomination. Although her true love is television, she occasionally works on film, with her most recent project being a Christmas movie for the Hallmark Channel, Annie Claus Is Coming to Town (2011),alongside Vivica A. Fox.
In her personal life, Annette dedicates her days to pursuing her passion for acting and raising her 7-year-old son, Preston Jude Lesure, who also became a working SAG actor at the age of 1. They have had the pleasure of working together on a few national commercials.
