Annabel Bates embarked upon a rigorous artistic journey by enrolling at the esteemed Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Acting.
Her impressive professional repertoire boasts an array of notable performances, including the BBC's critically acclaimed series "Rellik", the gripping drama "Guerrilla" on Sky Atlantic and Showtime, and the BBC's popular crime thriller "Luther". Additionally, she showcased her talent in the 2016 film "The Carer".
Prior to pursuing her acting career, Annabel underwent thorough training as a producer under the guidance of the accomplished Charlotte Wontner at Hopscotch Films. This experience paved the way for her to intern at the prestigious BBC, working on the production of "The Wrong Mans', and the British Film Institute (BFI).
As a producer, Annabel has successfully produced several short films for Honeybee Films, including the 2016 project "Rink", which received funding from Film London and the Eastern Edge Film Fund. This captivating short film made its way to the esteemed East End Film Festival, the London Short Film Festival, and the Bath Film Festival, solidifying Annabel's reputation as a talented and dedicated professional in the industry.
