Anna Ross, a multifaceted singer-songwriter, has built a remarkable career in the music industry. Her journey began when she was signed by the head of Chrysalis records with her band The V corporation.
Following the band's disbandment, Ross relocated from Newcastle to London and went on to collaborate with numerous renowned artists, including Tina Turner, Sting, Mark Ronson, Janelle Monae, Nile Rodgers, Tom Jones, Stereophonics, Jamiroquai, and Duran Duran, with whom she has embarked on four world tours.
Throughout her career, Ross has had the privilege of performing at iconic events such as Coachella, Live Aid, the opening of the Olympics, and even a special composition for Croatian TV on Christmas Day 2017.
In between tours, Ross has pursued higher education, earning degrees in Literature and Psychology. It was only natural for her to combine these experiences to focus on her own music.
Ross's debut album featured three collaborations with Simon Le Bon, while Nick Rhodes directed a video for one of the tracks, and John Taylor remixed another. Her second album marks a new direction, incorporating jazz influences and collaborations with long-time friend Phil Ramocon, a Grammy-winning writer, as well as French artists Foehn Trio and Jeremy Hababou, whom she first discovered at the Chamonix Jazz festival.
Throughout her extensive career, Anna Ross has consistently demonstrated her versatility, talent, and dedication to her craft.
