Angus Benfield, a talented actor born in Sydney, Australia, began his career in the film and television industry at the tender age of 14. His big break came shortly after graduating from acting school when he landed the lead role of Lex in the cult classic film "Lex and Rory" (1994),directed by Dean Murphy.
Benfield then went on to act in the Australian TV series "E Street" (1989) alongside Simon Baker, who later starred in the popular TV series "The Mentalist" (2008). In 1999, he moved to New Zealand to star as Officer Tom in the TV series "Kaitangata Twitch" (2010).
In 2005, Benfield won the Best Actor award at the 48 Hour Film Festival and went on to star in the New Zealand indie feature film "Wait Up Harriet" (2006) and the feature film "The Holy Roller" (2010). The talented actor then moved to LA with his family in 2017 to star in the feature film "Motorvation" (2022),for which he won several awards, including Best Actor at the Canadian Cinematography Awards, the New York Cinematography Awards, and the Eastern Europe International Movie Awards.
Benfield has also appeared in the TV series "NCIS: Los Angeles" (2009) alongside LL Cool J, Eric Christian Olsen, and Chris O'Donnell, and played the role of real-life lawyer Paul Hoffman in the feature film "A Fire Within" (2022). He has also co-starred alongside Hollywood icon Eric Roberts in the feature film "Heaven" (2020) and Julia Garner and Anna Chlumsky in the Netflix drama miniseries "Inventing Anna" (2022).
