Andy Evason was born in Swansea, Wales, UK, to parents who were both from the same region. His father, a devoted vicar, and his mother, a dedicated school teacher, instilled in him a strong sense of values and a passion for the performing arts from a young age.
Evason's early years were marked by frequent visits to the Swansea Grand Theatre, where he would watch and learn from the director, John Chilvers MBE. As he grew older, he became a regular fixture on the local theatre scene, starring in numerous plays and musicals.
With his sights set on a career in acting, Evason was all set to attend drama school in London in the 1980s. However, his father's illness forced him to put his plans on hold.
Decades later, Evason returned to acting, immersing himself in intense training to hone his craft. His hard work paid off when he landed the lead role in the short film "Shoeless," which won the Royal Television Society (RTS) Midlands branch UK Award for best fiction film in 2013.
Evason's recent projects include "Doorways," an exciting film that wrapped up production in 2013, "The Amityville Asylum," a chilling horror film set for release in 2013, and "Valley Of The Witch," a forthcoming release in 2015.
