Andrew Cordova, a talented individual, hails from Orange County, California, and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Despite being invited into the MFA Directing Program, Andrew chose to pursue a career in film instead.
Andrew's notable works include the award-winning play "She Loves Him, He Loves Her Not," published by StageScripts in the UK. His first short film, "Lifemate," a slapstick comedy, was showcased on Funny or Die for several years. The Sci-fi Thriller "4-Sighted" was accepted into multiple film festivals, solidifying his skills as a filmmaker.
In 2006, Andrew collaborated with friends Dawn Higginbotham and Brooke P. Anderson to write the indie Dramedy feature "Off The Ledge." The film was produced by Cordova Pictures less than a year later. Andrew also worked with Renee O'Connor on the comedy web series "5 Ways...," creating special short comedy sketches for her devoted Xena: Warrior Princess fans.
Andrew co-founded Stinky Kitty Productions with best friend Chad Anderson and produced the television pilot "Singled Out," which became an Official Selection in the 2016 Irvine International Film Festival's Television Pilot Competition.
Andrew's horror screenplay "Crossbow Creek" won numerous awards, including Best Horror Awards at Hollywood Blood, Hollywood Horrorfest, and Austin After Dark Film Festivals. The screenplay also received accolades from various competitions, including Shockfest, Breaking Walls Thriller Competition, and Olympus Film Festival.
Andrew's Comedy/Fantasy Television Pilot Screenplay "Venus" won the Grand Prize in Filmmaker Magazine's 1st TV Script Writing Competition and Best Short Comedy at the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival. The screenplay was also recognized by Shore Scripts, Inroads Fellowship, Olympus Film Festival, Film Empire, and other competitions.
Andrew's latest short film "Crumble" has won three Best Horror Short Awards and received recognition in several International film festivals.
