Andrew Osei-Karmen, a British actor born in London, is the son of a French father and a Ghanaian mother. Growing up in London, he spent a considerable amount of time in Paris, where a significant portion of his family resides, and considers the city his second home.
Andrew's passion for film and theatre began at a young age, and after completing his studies in Business Economics at the University of Reading, he pursued an acting course at Central School and subsequently attended drama school. During this period, he developed a keen interest in various performance styles, experimenting with classical, Meisner, Chekhov, Stanislavsky, and method acting techniques.
Andrew eventually adopted method acting as his primary style, believing it enables him to deliver more compelling and realistic performances. While at drama school, he was discovered by an international talent agency and landed his first job in a Toyota commercial, subsequently booking various ad campaigns for renowned brands such as Paul Smith, Kenzo, and Vivienne Westwood.
Andrew made his theatre debut in "Much Ado About Nothing" at Wimbledon Theatre and went on to perform in major West End and national/international productions, including "To Kill a Mockingbird", "Othello", and "The Glass Menagerie".
Andrew's television and film career began with a role in the popular British soap opera "Crossroads".
