Gustavo Andres Rilo Lacquaniti, known professionally as Andrew Dasz, was born on May 29th, 1977, in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a young boy, he was captivated by the martial arts skills of Chuck Norris, which inspired him to begin training in Tae Kwon Do (ITF) at the tender age of 10. This marked the beginning of his lifelong passion for martial arts.
As Andrew's skills and knowledge grew, he expanded his repertoire to include Ving Tsun Kung Fu and Hung Gar, which he began studying in 1993. Around the same time, he started working as a model for martial-arts-related mediums, which sparked an interest in the world of cameras and media.
In 1997, Andrew relocated to São Paulo, Brazil, where he continued his training in Ving Tsun Kung Fu under the guidance of Master Leo Imamura at Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Intelligence. This period was a significant milestone in his development as a martial artist and laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
The year 2005 saw Andrew move to Madrid, Spain, where he collaborated with his twin brother at a fight choreographer's group. He also enrolled in acting and modeling courses the following year, aiming to broaden his skills and versatility.
With his extensive martial arts background and newfound acting and modeling abilities, Andrew became a fight choreographer, traveling the world and working on various projects. He has since trained several actors and appeared in numerous films, solidifying his reputation as a skilled and accomplished martial artist.
Currently residing in Hong Kong, Andrew is a personal trainer and martial arts instructor, teaching a variety of martial arts disciplines to eager students each day of the week. His impressive resume includes training in Tae Kwon Do, Ving Tsun Kung Fu, Hung Kuen, Lion Dance, Aikido, Kick Boxing, Muay Thai, and Boxing, as well as studying the Frank Dux System of stretching.
Andrew is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, English, and basic Chinese, and is committed to continuing his work in the film industry to hone his skills and create his own projects, including a sequel to his film Stunt Games.
