Moving into the realm of film, Andres gained recognition after portraying the character of Ruben in the critically acclaimed "The Crime of Father Amaro", which received nominations for both the Oscar and Golden Globe as Best Foreign Film that year. Since then, he has appeared in more than twenty movies, with standout roles in "The Zone", "More Than Anything in The World", "Cinco de Mayo", and "Citizen Buelna", collaborating with esteemed directors in Mexican cinema such as Felipe Cazals, Carlos Carrera, Antonio Serrano, and Rodrigo Plá.
Notably, Andres received two consecutive awards for his performance in the film "Day Six" in Italy, a testament to his exceptional talent.
