As a co-founder of the esteemed troupe Uncalled For, Yates has earned widespread recognition, garnering multiple Canadian Comedy Award nominations. Furthermore, he has claimed the coveted Best Comedy prize at Montreal's renowned Just For Laughs Fringe Festival on two occasions, both times for Fringe Festival shows he co-created.
