Anders Randolf was born Anders Randrup in Denmark in the year 1870. His parents, Matthius Randrup and Kristine Jensen, had a significant impact on his life, as did his numerous siblings. In fact, he had two sisters, Kirstine Randrup, born in 1884, and Jensine Marie Randrup, born in 1880. Despite having a close-knit family, Anders grew up on Old Rybjergaard farm, living with his Aunt Marie Randrup, who was married to Anders Kristian Jensen, rather than his parents.
As he grew older, Anders made the decision to move to the United States, arriving around 1890-1893. Upon his arrival, he initially lived with an Aunt in Denver, Colorado. However, after her untimely death, he relocated to Chicago, where he joined the army and rose through the ranks to become an officer. Additionally, he taught fencing, a skill that would serve him well in his future endeavors.
In 1912, Anders made the move to New York, where he began working for the renowned movie studio Vitagraph. His career in the film industry would be a significant part of his life, and he would go on to make many important contributions to the world of cinema.
Anders Randolf was married to Dorthea Amdersine Jorgensen, a woman from Denmark who was born in 1890. The couple had one daughter, Karen Kristine Randolf, born in 1917, who would go on to have a significant impact on Anders' life. After his passing in 1930, there was a grand funeral held in Hollywood, and shortly after, his wife and daughter returned to Denmark.
Karen Randolf would go on to have a child of her own, a son named Peter Michael Mogens Randolf, born in 1942. Although the identity of Peter's father is unclear, it is known that Anders Randolf's grandson was given the Randolf surname. Peter would go on to marry Kirsten and have a son of his own, Anders Peter Randolf II, born on July 26, 1973. Unfortunately, Anders Peter Randolf II passed away in 1991, leaving behind a legacy that would continue to be felt for generations to come.
