Anastasia Mousis-Sanidopoulos, a talented individual, was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, but spent her formative years in Belmont and Watertown, Massachusetts. Her earliest foray into the world of performing arts began with dance instruction at O'Brien Dance Studio, where her instructor, the late Joan O'Brien, instilled in her a passion that continues to drive her to this day. Anastasia has had the privilege of training with renowned instructors such as Ian McKenzie and Sheryl Murakami.
After a marriage that produced twin boys ended in divorce, Anastasia devoted herself to raising her sons, putting her dancing career on hold. As her children grew older, her passion for the stage once again called to her, but fate had other plans. In March 2010, Anastasia's life took a dramatic turn when she was struck head-on by a drunk driver whose car flipped over in mid-air. This devastating accident brought an end to her physical ability to dance, a passion she had pursued since childhood.
Following a tumultuous period of therapy, healing, and support from loved ones, Anastasia redirected her energy towards acting. With her unwavering determination and resilience, she has since worked on over one hundred feature film titles. Her breakthrough role came in 2014, when she played a supporting part opposite Denzel Washington in "The Equalizer". This opportunity has opened doors to new experiences and Anastasia is taking them one stride at a time.
Anastasia embodies the spirit of resilience and a "can-do" attitude, refusing to let her past traumas define her identity. Instead, she is dedicated to creating and telling stories that empower others to overcome their own challenges.
