With a strong foundation in the arts, McAllister made her mark in the feature film world with her debut in the critically acclaimed Philomena (2013),starring the esteemed Judi Dench and Steve Coogan, and earning a BAFTA award in the process.
Before transitioning to the small screen, McAllister initially gained television recognition through her appearance in the beloved BBC drama Call the Midwife (2012).
