Amy Gumenick, a talented actress based in Los Angeles, was immersed in the competitive dance and theater world from a very young age, ultimately discovering her passion for performance.
Growing up, the performing arts were a constant presence in her life, but it was during her time at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theater with and honors distinction, that she formally cultivated her passion for acting.
Just weeks after graduating from college, Gumenick landed recurring television roles on Greek, Supernatural, and the title role in Lifetime's Natalee Holloway, marking the beginning of her successful career in film, television, and theater.
Throughout her career, Gumenick has taken on a wide range of roles, including recurring parts on AMC's TURN: Washington's Spies, where she played the role of American actress-turned-spy Philomena, and on the CW's Arrow, where she portrayed supervillain Cupid.
When she is not on screen, Gumenick is an active member of the dance and theater educational community and is a strong believer in the healing power of the arts.
