Amy Bench is a renowned director and cinematographer whose impressive body of work encompasses both documentary and fiction films.
Her most recent film, "More Than I Want to Remember," premiered at the prestigious SXSW festival in 2022, and went on to win top accolades at Tribeca and Hot Docs, earning the NAACP Image Award and securing a Shortlist spot for the 2023 Academy Awards. The film is now available on Paramount Plus.
In her most recent directorial effort, "Breaking Silence," Bench collaborated with co-director Annie Silverstein, and the film has garnered numerous festival awards, qualifying it for 2024 Oscar consideration. The film is currently available on PBS through Independent Lens.
