Biography

Amrou Al-Kadhi was born on June 23, 1990, in London, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey that would eventually lead to their success as a writer, director, and performer. As a screenwriter, Amrou co-wrote the critically acclaimed finale of Apple's Little America in 2020, and is a writer on the BBC America adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, The Watch, also released in 2020.

Amrou is the creator of "Targets," a horror series in development with BBC Drama and Public Dreams Ltd, as well as other TV series in development with ABC & FX Productions, NBC Universal, and Playground / Endeavour Content. Additionally, they have two feature films in development, "Layla" with Film 4 & Fox Cub Films and "Oh, Molly" with BBC Films & Sarah Brocklehurst Productions.

As the author of "Life as a Unicorn: A Journey From Shame to Pride and Everything in Between," published by Harper Collins, Amrou's memoir is currently being adapted for the screen.
