Amit Sial, a talented individual, hails from Kanpur, India, where his passion for acting was ignited at the tender age of eight. Since then, he has had the privilege of appearing in numerous stage productions across the country, showcasing his exceptional skills.
One of his most notable roles was that of Tim Supple's adapted version of Salman Rushdie's iconic novel, "Haroun and the Sea of Stories", directed by the renowned experimental theatre director, Neeraj Kabi.
In addition to his acting career, Sial has also ventured into direction, having helmed two short adaptations of Shakespeare's timeless classics, "MacBeth" and "Romeo & Juliet", for the Prithvi Theatre's short play festival in Mumbai.
Sial's educational background is impressive, having studied at Delhi University, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours, and later at Swinbourne University of Technology in Australia, where he pursued a degree in International Business.
Upon returning to India, Sial had the opportunity to work with several esteemed theatre directors, including the acclaimed Barry John.
His feature film debut, "Hope & a Little Sugar", was released in 2006, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career.
