Amirhossein Asgari, a visionary filmmaker, emerged onto the scene in 1978, specifically on November 22nd, in the vibrant city of Tehran. His passion for the performing arts led him to pursue a career in theater, where he honed his skills before transitioning to the world of cinema and television.
As he continued to grow and develop as an artist, Asgari's extensive experience as an assistant on over 50 films and television series laid the groundwork for him to create his own projects. This led him to produce his debut short film, "Catnap/Chort e Kotah," in 2008, which was a bold, experimental endeavor.
Asgari's subsequent short film, "Maybe Another Time," premiered in 2012, garnering recognition and acclaim at both domestic and international film festivals. This success paved the way for his first feature-length film, "Borderless," which made its global debut at the prestigious Tokyo International Film Festival.
