Biography of Ami Veevers-Chorlton:
Ami Veevers-Chorlton's life began on a farm in Halesworth, Suffolk, UK, where she was born as a real-life farmer's daughter. Despite her humble beginnings, Ami had a passion for the camera and a dream to become a model and actress.
Ami attended St. Felix School in Southwold, Suffolk, and her academic achievements were recognized when she was accepted to Trinity College of Speech and Drama and LAMDA, a prestigious stage school in London. At school, Ami excelled in verse & prose and Shakespeare repertoires, graduating with honors at the age of 18.
At 18, Ami left the UK to embark on a worldwide modeling campaign with Elite Models, working with clients such as DKNY, Armani, Max Mara, and Amanda Wakeley. Her talent soon became apparent, and she sought to break into the world of acting, signing with Edward Hill Management shortly after.
Through Edward Hill, Ami landed roles in films such as the James Bond saga "Die Another Day" and the TV series "Relic Hunter." She continued to secure lead roles, including the part of Mary in the TV release of "Harry & Kosh" and the critically acclaimed lead role as the Ice Queen in the horror film "Ice Queen."
For her role in "Ice Queen," Ami underwent an extensive transformation, spending over 5 hours each day on hair and makeup to become the hideously grotesque creature that terrorized a small ski town. Ami left Edward Hill and signed with Londinium Management, shortly after which she landed roles in the Bollywood production of "The Pinocchio Effect" and the film "The Holiday" alongside Jude Law and Cameron Diaz.
With her sultry British accent and easy-to-work-with nature, Ami began to receive voice-over opportunities, signing on to do "Fakers" in the UK. She was later brought in to voice the character of Saphira for the epic "Eragon," although FOX ultimately decided to go with Rachel Weisz instead.
Ami went on to work on a series of print campaigns for Bacardi, Sony, Ford, Samsung, Lynx, Fuji Film, FHM, Esquire, Loaded, Elle, Vogue, and Gucci. With her broad range of acting abilities and natural beauty, Ami is now reviewing multiple scripts and looking ahead to furthering her acting career in America.
Ami's ultimate goal is to land lead roles in American productions that will catapult her into A-list stardom, allowing her to showcase her talents across the pond.
