A native of Lilburn, Georgia, Amber Nash found her passion for making people laugh at a young age. She would often entertain her parents, sister, and classmates with her humorous antics. After high school, she enrolled at Georgia State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. During her college years, she discovered the world of improv comedy and was immediately hooked. She started taking classes and soon became a regular performer at Dad's Garage Theatre in Atlanta.
In addition to her improv work, Nash also worked as an Education Director at Dad's Garage Theatre. She also lent her talents to the local improv troupe, Laughing Matters, and did voiceover work for a local radio station. Her unique blend of humor and talent caught the attention of Matt Thompson and Adam Reed of Floyd Country Productions, who offered her a role in their Adult Swim series, "Frisky Dingo". This marked the beginning of her successful career in television voiceover.
Nash's breakout role came when she was cast as Pam Poovey in the critically-acclaimed FX/FXX show "Archer". Her portrayal of the former ISIS Human Resources Director earned her widespread recognition and praise. The show has won numerous awards, including two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Critics Choice Television Award. Nash's character has become a fan favorite, and she has been referred to as the "real hero of Archer" by BuzzFeed.
In addition to her voiceover work, Nash has also explored other mediums, including web series and film. She has a role in the highly-acclaimed web series "Hart of America", which earned her an Indie Series Award nomination for Best Actress in Comedy. Nash is also a skilled improviser, having performed in thousands of shows and touring across the United States, Canada, and Europe. She has worked with Second City in Atlanta and for Norwegian Cruise Lines.
When she is not acting, Nash enjoys traveling and is an amateur interior decorator. She is currently restoring an old camper with her father, which will become her backyard guest house. Nash is married to Kevin Gillese, the Artistic Director of Dad's Garage Theatre, and they reside in Atlanta with their brindle Pitbull mix, Carol.
