Amanda Walsh, a talented Canadian actress and former VJ for the renowned Canadian television station MuchMusic, embarked on her illustrious career at the tender age of 12, when she began working as a professional actor. Throughout her formative years, she honed her skills in various creative outlets, including sketches and stand-up comedy, making numerous TV appearances and even claiming a prestigious gold medal at the 2000 Improv Games in Quebec as a member of the esteemed "8 People" troupe.

Born on October 3, 1981, in Rigaud, Quebec, Walsh's passion for the performing arts was evident from an early age. She attended Hudson High School in Hudson, Quebec, where she further developed her craft. Her academic pursuits led her to graduate with honours from John Abbott College's Creative Arts program in Ste. Anne de Bellevue.

Walsh's interests extended beyond acting, as she maintained a keen enthusiasm for TV production and music. In fact, at the age of 16, she co-produced a documentary on the swing revival, showcasing her versatility and dedication to her craft.
