Aliza's life story begins in San Jose, California, where she was born and raised to a military father and a homemaker mother. Under the guidance of renowned instructor Alice Faye at the prestigious Encore Performing Art Academy, she underwent rigorous classical dance training from a young age.
As she matured, Aliza embarked on her professional dancing career at the tender age of 19. Her travels took her to various parts of the world, and upon her return to Los Angeles, she began working in television and film. One of her most notable projects was collaborating with the legendary Michael Jackson on the iconic "The Remember The Time Music Video".
Aliza's personal life is just as captivating as her professional accomplishments. She met her husband, Christopher Durand, a talented actor known for his role in "Halloween H20", at an industry event in 1999. The couple has been inseparable ever since, exchanging vows at the breathtaking Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland in 2003. The picturesque Loch Duich provided a stunning backdrop for their nuptials.
