Born in the charming city of Gainesville, Florida, Alix hails from a family of esteemed professionals. Her mother, Diana Angelis, is an accomplished Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Systems Engineer, while her father, James Angelis, is an Air Force Major Flight Nurse.
Growing up on a small farm, Alix was surrounded by the serenity of nature, sharing the experience with her twin sister, Kris Angelis, a talented singer-songwriter. The farm, which featured free-range cows and retired dressage horses, provided a unique and nurturing environment that likely influenced Alix's artistic pursuits.
Before pursuing her passion for the performing arts, Alix studied Environmental Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). She later attended the prestigious New York University Tisch School of the Arts Experimental Theatre Wing (ETW),where she honed her craft under the guidance of esteemed instructors.
Alix is also a founding member of the internationally-acclaimed physical theatre company, Not Man Apart, and co-founder of the innovative film production company, Badcake Films.
