Alicia Minshew is a talented actress and producer, best recognized for her iconic role as "Kendall Hart" on ABC's long-running daytime drama "All My Children", a performance that earned her two Daytime Emmy nominations over the course of ten years. In 2015, she received her third Daytime Emmy nomination for her portrayal of "Sara Preston" in the political streaming series "Beacon Hill", and later her fourth Emmy nomination for the hit show "Tainted Dreams", which streamed on Amazon.
In addition to a few indie films, Alicia has also made significant contributions to prime time television, with credits including Royal Pains, Hawaii Five-O, and the recurring role of Doctor Melissa Lomay on NBC's The Blacklist. Her passion for the craft of acting was further fueled when she collaborated with writer/director Markus Redmond on his coming-of-age film "This is Now", a project that allowed her to explore the creative process from behind the camera.
Alicia's experience producing "This is Now" sparked a newfound passion for producing, and she has since continued to write and produce various projects, including the Staten Island-based story "Eltingville", which won the Best TV Pilot award at the Chicago Indie films awards and has gone on to win numerous accolades as it continues to make its way through the festival circuit.
In her personal life, Alicia is dedicated to giving back to her community, and can often be found volunteering with the organization DOROT, where she uses her time to help isolated senior citizens in NYC.
