Biography

The fascinating life story of a talented Hollywood High School alumna, who initially commenced her professional journey as a secretary and scriptgirl, working alongside renowned directors Josef von Sternberg and Charles Chaplin. Possessing a captivating on-screen presence, she was unfortunately repeatedly miscast in roles that showcased her singing and dancing abilities.

Undeterred, she embarked on a vaudeville tour, traveling across the country, before eventually returning to Hollywood, only to find herself embroiled in a highly publicized sex scandal in 1933, involving her then-boyfriend and future husband, actor Jack Warburton, and Sy Bartlett.

Despite this setback, she continued to pursue her passion for the stage and screen, working diligently for the next two decades. However, a series of tumultuous marriages, further sex scandals, and a life-altering accident in 1957 ultimately brought her illustrious career to a close.
