Alice, a pioneering silent screen comedic actress, left an indelible mark on the industry with her versatility and talent. Her extensive filmography boasted numerous Keystone films, alongside some of the most iconic early works of the legendary Charlie Chaplin. Furthermore, her collaborations with fellow actors who would later become household names, such as the incomparable Mabel Normand and the renowned Marie Dressler, only served to solidify her position as a talented and influential figure in the early days of cinema.

In her personal life, Alice was married to the esteemed Broadway actor Harry Davenport, with whom she would later divorce. Her marriage to Davenport produced a daughter, Dorothy Davenport, who would go on to marry the dashing and handsome Wallace Reid, a matinee idol at Paramount Pictures.
