Alexander Nezlobin, a Russian and American stand-up comedian, also known as Sasha Nezlobin, was born on July 30, 1983, in the city of Polevskoy, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.
He pursued his higher education at the Faculty of Economics of the Ural State University of Economics, where he discovered his passion for comedy by playing in the local KVN team. Soon, he began to play for the national team of KVN Yekaterinburg "Sverdlovsk" for KVN (1961).
Nezlobin started his professional comedy career by performing at the Yekaterinburg Comedy Club, and his talent did not go unnoticed. He was soon invited to Moscow and began performing alone at the Comedy Club (2005),having previously worked in the duet "Butterflies" with Elvis (Igor Meerson).
Together with Elvis, he created the video "Good Evening, Mars" for the Comedy Club (2005),showcasing his stand-up style. His monologues usually revolve around the relationship between men and women.
In 2013, Nezlobin released the Russian series "Nezlob" (2013),a sitcom based on his life, in which he played the title role. He later ventured into directing and screenwriting, creating Russian comedies such as "Zhenikh" (2016) and "Doomsday" (2022),which showcased his unique blend of national humor.
In 2021, Nezlobin emigrated to the United States, where he continues to perform stand-up concerts. His first performances in English were documented in the film "Sasha from Russia" (2020),marking a new chapter in his comedy career.
Nezlobin's talent and versatility have made him a household name in the world of comedy, and his journey from Russia to the United States is a testament to his adaptability and dedication to his craft.
