Alexander Stine, affectionately known as "the People's Character Actor," is renowned for his remarkable versatility and boundless energy that he brings to his performances. Born to a high school principal and a gifted greeting card writer, Stine grew up in Parker, Colorado, where his fascination with all things geeky was first nurtured.
His passion for science fiction and fantasy storytelling, combined with a keen understanding of character development and story structure, led him to dedicate his life to the stage. After receiving a talent scholarship and earning a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Northern Colorado, Stine relocated to New York City, where he has starred in a wide range of productions, from intimate indie one-acts to grand, full-blown Shakespearean productions, such as King Lear, directed by the esteemed Austin Pendleton.
In 2014, Stine's film and television career began to take flight, with appearances on critically acclaimed shows like Orange is the New Black, The Affair, Boardwalk Empire, and Mindhunter. In 2017, he was honored with the Best Supporting Actor award at the Macabre Faire Film Festival for his portrayal of Yappy Hefflefinger in the feature film Wild Men.
In addition to his on-screen work, Stine is a highly sought-after Dungeon Master for Dungeons and Dragons 5E and is the Writer, Producer, and Host of the popular bi-weekly actual play podcast, The Floor is Dungeon, which airs on the Missing Sock Podcast Network.
