Alex Pugsley is a renowned film-maker and writer, hailing from the picturesque province of Nova Scotia. His impressive portfolio of short films has garnered international acclaim, with screenings at prestigious festivals such as the Edinburgh International Film Festival, the British International Short Film Festival, the Vancouver International Film Festival, the Toronto Worldwide Short Film Festival, and the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival.
Beyond his work in film, Pugsley is also a talented novelist and short story writer. He is the co-author of the critically acclaimed novel Kay Darling, and his fiction has been published in esteemed literary magazines such as Brick, Descant, the Queen Street Quarterly, and others.
