Alexander Michaeletos, a talented actor, made his acting debut in the animal adventure film Duma (2005),where he played the role of Xan, a young boy who forms a profound bond with a cheetah. This cinematic endeavor marked the beginning of his illustrious career, which was preceded by an extensive international search by casting directors. They traversed numerous locations, including New York, London, Canada, Chicago, and ultimately, his home country of South Africa, where they discovered Alex.
Interestingly, Alex's personal life bears a striking resemblance to that of his on-screen character, Xan. Not only do they share similar names, but they also reside on a South African farm surrounded by a diverse array of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, African wild dogs, and various antelope species. However, unlike Xan, who was an only child, Alex has five siblings, adding a unique dynamic to his life.
