Alex Ferrari is a multi-talented individual with a diverse range of skills and accomplishments. As an author, blogger, speaker, consultant, and award-winning writer/director, he has spent 25 years in the film industry.
Alex's career in filmmaking began with his award-winning short film Broken, which premiered at over 200 international film festivals and received reviews from over 250 news outlets worldwide, including renowned film critic Roger Ebert.
Roger Ebert praised Broken, stating that it is "essentially a demonstration of the mastery of horror imagery and techniques."
The film's success led to the creation of the Broken: Special Edition DVD, which has sold over 5000 units worldwide, making it one of the most celebrated shorts in recent years.
Frustrated by the challenges faced by his fellow filmmakers, Alex founded Indie Film Hustle, a website dedicated to educating filmmakers and artists on how to succeed in the film industry. He also launched the Indie Film Hustle Podcast, which quickly became the #1 filmmaking podcast on Apple Podcasts.
Alex has also created other popular podcasts, including Bulletproof Screenwriting and Filmtrepreneur, and has launched the world's first streaming service dedicated to filmmakers, screenwriters, content creators, and artists, called Indie Film Hustle Tv.
In addition to his work in podcasting and filmmaking, Alex has written two bestselling books, Shooting for the Mob and Rise of the Filmtrepreneur. His latest book, Rise of the Filmtrepreneur, became a #1 Best Seller within 10 hours of its release.
Alex is currently working on his feature film debut, On the Corner of Ego and Desire, a satirical look at the indie film world shot entirely at the Sundance Film Festival.
