Biography

Alex Enriquez Drummond was born and raised in the charming town of Dumont, New Jersey, where he spent his formative years. He then attended high school at the esteemed St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City, laying the foundation for his future academic and professional pursuits.

Following his graduation from Saint Peter's College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Drummond embarked on a year-long journey of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Houston, Texas. During this transformative experience, he worked at a transitional residence for homeless men with HIV, honing his skills and developing a deeper understanding of the world around him.

Drummond's foray into the film industry began with the production of his first movie, "Killer Party," also known as "The Shower." The film premiered at Shriekfest in Los Angeles, where it went on to win numerous accolades during its festival run. Some of the notable awards it received include Best Feature at the Nevermore Film Festival, Macabre Faire Film Festival, and Cedar Rapids Independent Film Festival, as well as Best Comedy at the Fright Night Film Festival and Best Director at the Macabre Faire Film Festival. Additionally, the film took home the award for Best Ensemble at both the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival and the Los Angeles Fear & Fantasy Film Festival.

"Killer Party" was subsequently distributed by Epic Pictures in the United States and Grimm Entertainment in the United Kingdom under the title "L.A. Contagion." The film is now available on various video-on-demand platforms and Blu-Ray.
