Alana Dietze is a multi-talented individual who has made a significant impact in the Los Angeles theater community as a director, actor, and active member.
As an actor, she has received notable recognition for her performances in various productions, including Nora in Dido of Idaho, where she received a LADCC Nomination for Lead Performance, and Charlotte in Stay Close, which earned her an Ovation Nomination for Ensemble.
In addition to her acting work, Alana has also been involved in several immersive and site-specific shows, such as The Shape of the Night and The Recital, and has been a company member of the Echo Theater Company, where she previously served as Literary Manager and Associate Artistic Director.
Alana is also a dedicated member of public assembly, a company that aims to reinvent community theater in Los Angeles.
As a director, she has worked on several notable productions with the Echo Theater Company, including Crabs in a Bucket, which won two LADCC Awards, and Poor Clare, which earned eight LADCC Awards, including Production and Direction.
Her other directing credits include The Wolves, which won a LADCC Award for Ensemble, and Dry Land, which won an Ovation Award for Production - Intimate Theater. Dry Land was also remounted at the Kirk Douglas Theatre as part of CTG's inaugural Block Party program.
