Alain Bastien's captivating journey in the performing arts and artistic world began during his teenage years when he co-founded the highly acclaimed group Hip-Hop Technical Sense, which achieved immense success in the 1990s.
As a testament to the group's remarkable popularity, they had the esteemed opportunity to open several concerts for renowned artists, including the illustrious NAS, Wyclef Jean, Jay-Z, and Black Moon, during the 1990s.
Beyond his impressive musical endeavors, Alain made his acting debut in the independent film Double Vie, skillfully directed and produced by the talented Henri Pardo. His acting career continued to flourish as he appeared in other notable independent Haitian films, such as Soleil dans la Nuit.
Fast-forwarding to 2010, Alain's outstanding performance in the feature film Sortie 67, produced and directed by Jephté Bastien, earned him recognition and accolades. This cinematic masterpiece went on to win the prestigious "Claude Jutra" award for best feature film at the 31st Genie Awards.
