Alessandro "Al" Miro, a talented New York-trained actor, hails from a family of four siblings, where he developed a remarkable aptitude for language, becoming trilingual at a young age. As a child, his vivid imagination often transported him to a future where he would don the role of an actor, and this fascination only intensified after completing high school.
With a newfound sense of purpose, Miro began auditioning for roles, eventually landing parts on Canadian television shows. This initial success prompted him to relocate to the city that never sleeps - New York City - where he enrolled in the esteemed Circle in the Square Theatre School to hone his craft on the esteemed Broadway stage.
Since then, Miro has appeared in numerous award-winning films and television shows, as well as critically acclaimed plays in both New York City and Canada. His impressive resume boasts a range of notable performances, solidifying his status as a talented and versatile actor.
In 2008, Miro co-founded the NYC-based Animus Theatre Company, a collective of esteemed professionals, including Broadway and Hollywood actors, established writers, and award-winning directors. This esteemed organization has provided a platform for Miro and his colleagues to showcase their artistic prowess.
In addition to his theatrical endeavors, Miro has also ventured into the realm of digital media, creating the popular YouTube series "How to Make It in Hollywood (When you are Foreign AF)". This comedic masterpiece follows the misadventures of an ethnically ambiguous immigrant actor as he navigates the challenges of the entertainment industry.
Currently, Miro splits his time between Vancouver, BC, and New York City, where he continues to pursue his passion for acting and artistic expression.
