As a result, all Behemoth gigs scheduled until November 2010 were unfortunately canceled, leaving fans and fellow musicians in a state of uncertainty. The road to recovery seemed daunting, with chemotherapy initially appearing ineffective.
However, fate had other plans for Nergal. A bone-marrow transplant, a last resort, proved to be the turning point in his battle against the disease. A matching donor was found, and Nergal underwent the life-saving procedure, paving the way for a long and arduous journey towards recovery.
