Adam Bradley's life journey began in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he was born and raised. He has since had the opportunity to work and train as an actor in various locations around the world, including Vancouver, Berlin, Prague, Denmark, Serbia, Bali, Norway, and Toronto, before ultimately settling in New York.
Initially, Adam's intention was to pursue an academic career, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from McGill University and later a Master's degree from the University of British Columbia. However, his passion for photography led him to film sets, where he worked as a stills photographer. This experience sparked his interest in cinematography, and he began working as a lighting technician in 1997.
Over the next three years, Adam honed his skills in various roles, including lighting, gripping, camera, sound recording, writing, producing, and directing, working on projects ranging from low-budget student productions to major studio films. In 2001, while living in Prague, Adam stumbled upon a sketch comedy show and was so moved by the experience that he knew he had found his true calling as an actor.
To refine his craft, Adam trained at the Atlantic Acting Conservatory in New York City from 2004 to 2006 and has been working as an actor ever since. With his diverse background in writing, cinematography, and production, Adam brings a unique perspective to his work as an actor. His experience as a writer allows him to understand dramatic structure and dialogue, while his work as a technician keeps him humble and respectful of the efforts of others. Additionally, his experience as a producer gives him insight into the larger picture, understanding that the actor's role is just one part of the overall production.
In 2007, Adam and his wife Amelia Mathews founded Well-Drawn Dog Productions, a production company dedicated to creating high-quality films, both short-form and feature-length.
