Adam Barnett, a native of San Antonio, Texas, was born with a passion for film acting that would shape his life's trajectory. From a young age, he demonstrated a keen interest in entertaining, showcasing his talents through BMX bike and hackysack skills demonstrations in his neighborhood, effortlessly drawing in crowds.
As a student at Sandra Day O'Connor High School in Helotes, Texas, Barnett pursued his passion for acting and film by taking theater arts and film critique classes. His extracurricular activities included membership in the Future Farmers of America, where he honed his skills and developed a strong sense of community.
During his senior year in 2005, Barnett achieved the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor attainable in the Boy Scouts of America, while serving as a member of Troop 401 in Helotes.
After graduating from high school, Barnett remained in San Antonio and enrolled at Northwest Vista College (NWVC),where he concurrently worked as a cast member of the acrobatic show "Viva!" at SeaWorld San Antonio. In his free time, he took up juggling as a hobby, practicing intensively between shows and rapidly improving his skills.
In June 2009, Barnett's hard work paid off when he was cast as "Teddy", a fire juggling thug in the Disney/Touchstone feature film "The Last Song", after impressing casting directors with his multi-talented abilities, including acting, juggling, hackysack handling, and exceptional overall performance.
Barnett earned an Associate's Degree in Science from NWVC in 2007 and continued his education at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he was set to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Health as of April 2010.
